Central
Florida's premier restaurant, Maison & Jardin,
began serving the public in 1958. Owner Bill Beuret purchased the
five acre property in 1972 and turned an intimate tea room into
one of Florida's finest restaurants.
Located on Wymore Road in Altamonte Springs, Maison & Jardin's
neoclassical architecture was inspired by a mansion in the South
of France dating back to Roman times.
After decades of serving and celebrating with generations of Central
Floridians, in July 2006 Maison & Jardin discontinued a la carte
dining and now ofers its facilities exclusively for private parties.
Guests will enjoy the unique design and ambience of each dining
room. The gazebo room evokes a Mediterranean chateau with hand painted
tile walls overlooking a tiered fountain, waterfall and goldfish
pond. Equally lovely is the airy canvas roofed Patio Room. The towering
canopies of the North and South Terraces adds a whole new realm
of possibilities to these already delightful areas. Both are frequently
used for pre-dinner receptions as well as seasonal sit down meals.
Throughout its interior, Maison & Jardin plays host to many museum
quality pieces. Oriental rugs, Austrian crystal, and antique mirrors
in frames taken from a 17th century Venetian palazzo help create
the exquisite atmosphere that is a hallmark of Maison & Jardin.
Trends started in 1958 are today traditions that make Maison & Jardin synonymous with celebrations, special occasions and Central
Florida's most elegant events.
